Moon est né dans une petite ville du Japon.
Il aurait dû grandir comme les autres enfants de son âge, mais le destin en a décidé autrement.
La nuit de sa naissance, un fragment de la Pierre Lunaire explosa quelque part dans le pays. De cette fissure, deux éclats d’énergie s’échappèrent : l’un doré, l’autre corrompu, d’un rose étrange. Son œil droit devint doré. Le gauche, rose. Les gens de la ville en parlèrent pendant des années.
Vous pourriez me dire : « Où est le problème ? N’est-ce pas simplement une maladie rare de l’enfance ? »

J’ai dix-neuf ans maintenant. Et pour une raison que j’ignore encore, je me suis réveillé il y a quelques années au milieu d’une forêt.
Pas de mémoire. Pas de nom. Pas d’enfance.
Rien.
C’était la pleine lune ce soir-là, comme si elle me regardait. De petites créatures s’approchèrent de moi — elles ressemblaient à des esprits, ou à des chats… peut-être les deux. Blanches comme la lumière lunaire, et étrangement amicales. Je ne le savais pas encore, mais elles resteraient toujours à mes côtés.
À côté de moi étaient posés un katana blanc et une lame. Je ne me souvenais pas les avoir possédés… mais c’était comme s’ils m’appartenaient.

Je me suis retrouvé dans une ville de la préfecture d’Iwate, toujours perdu, toujours sans souvenirs. En quête de réponses, j’y ai appris l’existence d’une légende : celle de la Pierre de Lune, une pierre capable d’exaucer un seul vœu à celui qui l’éveillerait.
Les chats-esprits sont toujours avec moi.
Je les ai appelés Moonies
C’est… vraiment mignon.
J’ai fini par créer une guilde de chasseurs et j’ai commencé à combattre toutes sortes de créatures : des oni, des esprits, des vampires, des loups-garous…
Mon katana devait bien avoir une signification, non ? Et en même temps, je continuais à chercher la Pierre.
Peut-être que je poursuis une légende stupide… ou peut-être pas.
Toutes mes recherches convergeaient vers un seul endroit : le Mont Osore. Quelle ironie, hein ? Dans la mythologie japonaise, cette montagne est connue pour être l’une des portes de l’enfer. Je ne vais pas mentir : j’avais peur.
Mais si la Pierre de Lune existait vraiment, je ne pouvais pas faire demi-tour.Dans les profondeurs de la montagne, au moment même où j’allais rebrousser chemin, je l’ai trouvée.
Une chambre de cristal, brillant de couleurs bleues et blanches. Et en son centre… la Pierre.
Lorsque je l’ai touchée, le monde s’est figé. Une lumière jaillit de la Pierre.
Et pendant une seconde, j’ai tout ressenti — mon passé, ma douleur, tout.
Parfois, la vérité doit rester cachée.
Parfois… la vérité blesse plus qu’un mensonge.
Et parfois… j’aimerais tout oublier à nouveau.┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ┊

MY STORY //
Moon was born in a small town in Japan.
He should’ve grown up as a normal child, but destiny had other plans.
The night I was born, a fragment of the Lunar Stone cracked somewhere in the world. From that crack, two sparks of energy escaped: one golden, one corrupted rose-colored. My right eye became gold and my left one pink. People in town whispered about me for years.
You might think: “Why is that a problem? Isn’t that just a rare childhood condition?”
Let me explain…
I’m 20 years old now. And for reasons I still don’t understand, I woke up years ago in the middle of a forest.
No memories. No name. No childhood.
Nothing.
The moon was full that night, almost like she was watching over me. Small creatures approached me — they looked like spirits, or cats… maybe both. White as moonlight, and strangely friendly. I didn’t know it then, but they would never leave my side again.
Next to me lay a white katana and a blade. I didn’t remember owning them… but they felt like they belonged to me.

I ended up in a city in Iwate Prefecture, still lost and still without memories. As I searched for answers, I learned about the legend of the Lunar Stone, a stone said to grant a single wish to the one who awakens it.
Those spirit cats are still with me.
I call them Moonies
It’s actually… really cute.
I eventually created a guild of hunters and started fighting all kinds of creatures: oni, spirits, vampires, werewolves…
My katana had to mean something, right? And at the same time, I kept searching for that stone.
Maybe I’m chasing a stupid legend… or maybe not.
My research eventually pointed me toward Mount Osore. What a twist, right? In Japanese mythology, this mountain is known as one of the gates to the underworld. JI won’t lie, I was scared.
But if the Lunar Stone truly existed, I wasn’t turning back. Deep within the mountain, just as I thought about turning around, I found it.
A crystalline chamber, glowing with blue and white colors. And at its center… the Stone.
The moment I touched it, the world froze. Light burst out of the stone.
And for a second, I felt everything — my past, my pain, everything.
Sometimes, the truth needs to stay buried.
Sometimes… the truth hurts more than a lie.
